There are only a handful of people who come into the world and touch your life in a dramatic fashion. Some people are just flickers of light during a long life, whilst others are consistent glows for years. Reg was a consistent glow.

Reg, father of Jan Purcell, joined South East Security in 1987 and was still working for us 21 years later. He loved working for the Company and was pivotal in its development and in helping to create the standards by which we earned our NACOSS Gold accreditation and that we work by today.

Reg was loved by staff, customers, suppliers and sub-contractors alike. He was a man of extreme honour and professionalism, he was firm but fair but was always there to help. He strove always to provide a quality service and set an example to all who worked for South East.

Everyone who knew Reg felt comfortable around him and many of us grew to love him as family. He was a consistent figure at South East with a heart of gold, a fantastic sense of humour and someone to whom we could always turn to for help and support. He taught us that the most important part of business is the people in it and Reg was one of the best. We shall miss him dreadfully but he will always remain in our hearts.
